VW Action is the longest running VW Show in the UK and the last three years at 'The Pod' have produced some quite exceptional shows. 2010 will continue the great tradition of VW Action by delivering the absolute best event for the true VW enthusiast. It's a show to which people are happy to bring their young family members, and yet which provides full on entertainment for all of its visitors, whatever their age or interests. Every year Action has a theme, and this year, they're having an early Christmas so pop on your santa hats and crack out the tinsel for Saturday nights entertainment. Alongside this there is the spectacle of the track with the RWYB and various classes battling it out all weekend on the strip along with the usual show format with a hugh show and shine and trader area to keep everyone occupied. Grab your Sci Fi fancy dress, hop in your vessel and join The Cornwall VWOC for all the Jamboree fun, over the August bank holiday weekend of 27-30 August 2010.

There will be an 'Air Guitar' competition held on the Sunday evening in conjunction with Siunpusher, the Sunday evening Band. Play along to well known Rock Riffs and display your abilities to an audience for a change, giving the bedroom mirror a rest!

Now into its 24th year, this Jamboree promises to be the biggest and best yet, with three days and nights entertainment including live bands, family discos, childrens entertainers, a huge show and shine event on Sunday, Trader village, caterers and licensed bar, cars for sale, loads of camping inc. designated club camping areas, showers, first aid and professional security all weekend.

It's fast approaching that time again for the 3rd year of dubs at the castle and this great family event will again be held in the beautiful grounds of Caldicot Castle. There is something for all of the family at the show with a playgrounds and bouncy castle for the kids whilst there should be something for everyone's tastes music wise with live bands playing on both nights as well as acoustic sets throughout the day. After four very happy years at Wraxall the show is on the move to Washingpool Farm, Easter Compton over the weekend of 11th-13th June. Adrian and the team say it may be a new venue, a slightly new name but rest assured, it's still your favourite Bristol Volskfest with attractions such as a huge trade area, show and shine, evening entertainment on the Saturday night and a huge video screen showing Englands world cup match against the USA live. In addition to this the OVC has decided to have it's first ever Summer Party on the Saturday afternoon so make sure you grab a cider and pop along to say hi. Plymouth Volksfest is back for the third year running at the popular site of Newnham Park, Plymouth over the bank holiday weekend. This is a really good festival type show with entertainment throughout all three days and, with bands such as Goldie Looking Chain and Kid Creole And The Coconuts to name just a couple, this promises to be another great weekend. Vanwest is back over the weekend of 7th-9th May for it's fifth show at an new venue. This years show will take place at Warren Farm Park, Brean and promises the usual show format with everything for your van needs. These include a great range of traders, stalls full of parts, clothing, VW fashion and gifts - all available at great prices. We're also really glad to see the autojumble area growing year on year, so please support your fellow V-dubbers. The Fun & Friendly Family VW Festival

The OVC will once again heading off to Santa Pod for the first and the funniest VW festival on the calendar, once again in association with Volksworld Camper and Bus. With high-octane racing and slow-paced vibes, Big Bang is anything you want it to be… provided you want it to be Vee Dub!

Three days of VW fun in the sun with great racing, music and comedy all at the home of European Drag Racing! All Beetles and buses, campers and Karmanns are welcome at the show to enjoy the Run What Ya Brung (RWYB), show & shine, Drag Racing, or simply filling the camp sites with VWs and chilling out.

This years cruise will take place on Sunday 18th April and, as last year, will start at Brean Leisure park and make it's way to the beach lawns at Weston-super-Mare. A fee of £5.00 per vehicle is charged to get onto the Beach Lawns and 100% of the profits from this show are donated to the two chosen charities, more of which can be found out about by clicking their logos on the site. This is usually a good day out with the opportunity to look over some great vehicles and it'll be cool to see a few of you there representing the club. Below is a list of the club meet dates for 2010. These will be held on the second Sunday of the month (unless mentioned below) and will be in the normal meeting place of Starbucks which is located opposite the entrance to The Aztec West Hotel, Aztec West, Bristol just off the M5 motorway. Start times may vary dependant on the time of year so please see the events section on the main forum.

The dates for the meets are as follows:
January 10th.
February 21st (Winter Warmer Sunday Lunch Cruise).
March 14th.
April 11th.
May 16th (3rd Sunday due to Vanwest).
June 20th (3rd Sunday due to Bristol Volksfest).
July 11th.
August 8th.
September 12th.
October 10th.
November 14th.
December 12th.

Please feel free to come along to these meets if you're a non member and are interested in seeing what the club has to offer or just fancy a chinwag as you'll be warmly welcomed by all.
