Yes the inner wings are in great order :thumb: may have to buff them too Corndog :D

I am gonna try and get the wings sand blasted and then undercoated and painted at work (in the booth), if all is good I may take the rear wings off and do them too

Charlie, taking the wing was very easy just take off the lights and push the wiring out the way, then its about 10 bolts and its off  took about 10 mins each side :salute:

Just had a quote to sandblast the wings from http://www.blastnbake.co.uk/ in Bridgwater at £18.00 each wing :thumb:

Happy days and they powder coat wheels if any is looking for someone who does it? :D

Make sure they blast the wings at low pressure otherwise they could be ruined, personally I would only blast the rusty areas, it is not the best method if you just want to strip the paint.

If the wings are pretty much solid and straight and you just wanted to go back to bare metal before painting them, I'd prob be inclined to go the chemical route, like nitromors auto or similar.
As Andy said, I'd steer clear of blasting on panels apart from localised areas that have got the metal lurghy :rabbit:

Go go Gavlaar :thumb:
